The manipulator is a pneumatic machine for solving the problem of handling spool shafts.
It can insert and extract expanding shafts from spools and store them without any operator effort. The machine is floor-mounted (fixed position), connected up to the compressed air supply. It moves to the shaft-grip position along a horizontal axis, with vertical traverse and manual rotation around the column.
